funckii from Funck; named after Chr. H. Funck (1771-1839), (, ?; , ), apothecary at Bayroeth, who made business of collections of dried plants which he had gathered in the Alps and the Giant Mountains, and had a good knowledge of Cryptogamic plants. He wrote some botanical publications.
